​Nestled in the heart of the 4th district of Batangas, Rosario has rapidly emerged as a vibrant hub of commerce and agriculture. This transformation became more pronounced after Lipa City, previously part of the 4th district, attained the status of a lone congressional district. Geographically central to the district, Rosario's strategic location has catalyzed its development into a bustling commercial center, with its sights set on cityhood.

​Rosario, Batangas – A significant milestone was achieved for the judiciary in Rosario, Batangas, as the newly constructed Hall of Justice building in Poblacion B was blessed and inaugurated. The event, led by Representative Lianda Bolilia, marked a new chapter for the judicial system in the region, promising a modern, spacious, and safer environment for judiciary personnel.

​Rosario, a vibrant town in Batangas Province, is set to witness a significant transformation with the construction of a new modern public market and a state-of-the-art stadium in Barangay San Roque. These developments, announced by Mayor Leovy Morpe during the Sinukmani Festival Concert, are poised to cater to the needs of the town's growing population, which now stands at 140,000.

The Sinukmani Festival 2024 began on June 5 and concluded on June 9, the founding anniversary of Rosario. The full list of events is as follows:

A popular supermarket chain in Batangas opens in Barangay Namunga, Rosario, Batangas last December 15, 2023. It is the 10th Citimart branch and 8th in the province of Batangas. Its supermarket at the basement is fully operational while shops at the ground floor and the entire 2nd floor are to follow. Makeshift free taste booths at the ground floor were installed during the grand opening. We failed to cover these in our video including the ribbon cutting and some events at the activity area.

A KFC store opens in Barangay Namunga, Rosario, Batangas last December 28, 2023. It is the 375th KFC store in the Philippines and the 13th in the Province of Batangas. The first 100 customers of the branch received a free tote bag.

​Also worth noting in a Batangas wedding is pulungan, the Batangueño term for pamamanhikan. Other terms/practices preceeding the wedding proper are paghahanda, martesan, paglalawo, pagdadahon, pagniniyog, and pahapunan.
