​Also worth noting in a Batangas wedding is pulungan, the Batangueño term for pamamanhikan. Other terms/practices preceeding the wedding proper are paghahanda, martesan, paglalawo, pagdadahon, pagniniyog, and pahapunan.

2. Walang dress code pero bawal magsuot ng damit na may mukha ng kahit sinong kandidato.
3. Magsuot ng face mask, magdala ng alcohol, panatilihin ang physical distancing, at magpatinging ng temperatura.
4. Hindi kailangan magdala ng ID, pero maghanda pa rin kung sakaling magkaaberya.
5. Alamin ang iyong precinct at sequence numbers at assigned room o clustered precinct sa Voter's Assistance Desk (VAD). Mas mainam din kung pupunta muna sa Voter Verifier at dun i-check bago pumunta sa botohan.
6. Maaaring magdala ng kodigo para mapadali ang pagboto.
7. Suriing mabuting ang iyong balota. Tingnan kung may punit, dumi, guhit, o naitiman na yung bilog.
8. Itiman nang maayos ang bilog sa tapat ng napiling kandidato. Maaaring mag-undervote pero hindi pwedeng mag-overvote. Wag kalimutang tingnan ang likod ng balota kung nasaan ang listahan ng mga pagpipiliang party-list.
9. Bawal ang pagkuha ng selfie at larawan ng balota. Maari lang dalhin ang iyong cellphone kung dito nakalista ang iboboto.
10. Siguraduhing naipasok mo ang iyong balota at nabilang ng counting machine.
